The sport is very dirty & racist.
Agree, all we can do is keep exposing the truth and making it a more dignified sport

      I dislike Fury, immensely.

But he strikes me as, like Floyd and Canelo, not someone who will jump into a losing situation. Either two things are happening. His arbitration dispute is affecting his ability to get into the ring or there are issues with fulfilling his contract with Top Rank. But then, at the same time, I reckon that Fury will have issue obtaining a boxing license in the UK too.

The OP is typical of real bona fide ignorance... Ever think about what you don't hear from Fury? Never makes negative comments about young fighters coming up... often spends a good deal of time propping them up in his interviews... Is generally honest about his situation and perception.... What a lot of people don't like is that at the end of the day Fury is honest about the relative importance of punching other men in the face for a living... And the etheral quality of life.

Fury wants to sing, enjoy his victories... and people need to understand that Fury is looking at a very hard road to hoe. Once he stops fighting his depression will be a bear and a half. He struggles when there is a lack of activity, hence why he is downing pints. Everyone wants to take a point of view on the fight between Fury and Joshua... Both men are ultimately beholden to their promoters. Fury said there were complicated elements involved with these contracts, why disbelieve him? People like Redeemer still believe that fighters determine when they fight another guy, and are "scared" if they cannot make the fight happen right away. Nobody here knows s hit about all the BS Arum, Hearns and these other near do wells/promoters put in the way for fighters.

Arum and Hearns want the most cash they can get for a fight and do not care about the sport, legacy, etc... Floyd left Arum for a reason...

A wise post... You touch upon some possible hinderances instead of declaring from the top of the dunce tower "Fury is scared of Joshua! (or vice versa)."
