Strange people criticizing this fight. Linares is a well known name and an easy sell for Haney and his team. It is not like Linares has zero shot at a win here. Haney comes in focused and he respects Linares it should be a good win for him. But a motivated Linares giving 100% can really charge his career by beating Haney, and he has the tools. I think it is a fun fight. Great step up and decent test for Haney.

Some people will always complain no matter what certain fighters do.

I'm glad Delusional Devin Hypejob Haney is at LEAST fighting someone with some credentials, even though Linares has blown out a few candles. He should be able to absorb the light punching Haney's shots and test his chin. Haney needs an impressive win, he can't go out and be that 'safety first' guy that beat Gamboa. He can't be worrying about getting touched (which seems to be the case) and he and papa Haney need to STOP with the b.s. about the top guys "avoiding us". What has he done to warrant making such a statement?

Good test for him. Hopefully Linares bring it.

No former world champion is a bum!

            past his best? Maybe?

have there been better? Of course!

A bum? Far from it! Need to reasses your definition!

He is in the top 1% of his chosen career in the world, whatever you do, you aren’t in the top 1% so what does that make you? What’s worse than a bum?

Haney said he doesn't need to fight Loma because he lost...but Haney will fight Linares?

Linares showing he's a real Mexican warrior, unlike the ducker Teo.

Still feel underwhelmed with this, linares has no chin and years past his best.

A lot has been made of the 4 young fighters at the weight at the top but it looks like were not going to see them fight each other.
