Good fight. Haney can’t crack an egg so this should go the distance. He’ll get his chance to display his boxing IQ against a savvy veteran. Probably crazy but I’m giving Linares the edge.

Why isnt he fighting Fortuna? I didnt hear bout this I thought it was inked. I had Fortuna in the upset.
I like the past Linares to F up Haney but this is the old man version of Linares. I think Haney will take him out the same way Loma did. Livershot.

Now that's a step up for Haney. 50-50 in my eyes. Linares will REALLY test him and make things very complicated and uncomfortable in there. The stick and move stuff won't always work on someone with the speed and experience of Linares. Linares' weakness is durability and I don't think Haney has the power or the activity level to take advantage of that. Very good fight! Finally Haney will be in a fight.

Campbell and Linares are both infinitely better wins than a win over Barrios will be for a supposedly ‘A’ level fighter. I like Barrios, seems like a great guy, entertaining to watch but there are levels.

Matchroom Boxing, Haney’s promoter, made an offer on the fight earlier this week

yet they never made any offers to loma, lopez, etc...bunch of hot air. they only made offers to over the hill fighters. well boxing is a business, building the hype

Why would Eddie make an offer to Lopez who already has a fight with a mandatory? Loma has just come off a "Loss" so Eddie would be seen to be taking advantage of a fighter not exactly at his best right now. They'd call Haney a coward for wanting that fight under those conditions.

I get your point in Haney needing to step up and fight more credible opponents. I want him to do so too. But at least be reasonable.
