Saunders has virtually no shot at pulling the upset.
      I think you are doing him a disservice, he is much better than you make out, but you hit the nail on the head with his punching power.

      If he has the power to hurt Canelo, with his style I think he would keep Canelo honest enough to eek out a points win if Canelo has an off night

      But he won’t gain his respect with his lack of power and I can see Canelo walking right through him like he did Smith and Yildirim

        Also a committed Jab(its why Golovkin and Kovalev both gave him tough fights) but no one really since Floyd and Ward had both

          Saunders was misquoted. What he actually said was "in my mind I won this fight" after exhaling a cloud of coke smoke.

            BJS is in for a big surprise because so far he is talking about Canelo as if he is some dumb come forward fighter who is there to brawl. He needs to expect Canelo the smart, defensively sound boxer to go in there. He keeps talking up his intelligence as if he is going to fight Antonio Margarito.

              I like BJS. I find it hard to encapsulate it in words but I, honestly, got BJS. He is a repellent, misogynistic jerk but he properly, can fight & I'm not that sold on anyone Canelo has beat since the win over Jacobs which was, errr controversial is putting it mildly.

              Some MoFo actually has this as their signature;

              “It is better to have a run in with a mother bear robbed of her cubs than it is to meet some fool busy with a ****** project.” -Proverbs 17:12

              Loads of f""""ing bears in israel & ********* are there ? You complete & utter ****!

                I think GGG in the first fight with Canelo did better than Lara did in his, and fought a more similar version of what Canelo is now. Granted, there is a difference in abilities there (between GGG and Lara), but I think the best style to give Canelo problems is to come at him and fight. Canelo's defense and head movement is too good for BJS to sit on the outside and pitter pat away trying to score points. It probably leads to a UD of 7 rds to 5 (or there abouts) for Canelo, but leaves the excuse door open for BJS to claim that "he felt he won the fight", "did what he needed to do to win", and everyone to act as if their guy won.

                  Unfortunately, a lot of Canelo pessimists believe that fighters don’t improve or CHOOSE styles per fight. Canelo has shown different styles with many elites, that’s why we are fans.

                  Lara didn’t come to fight. He called out a boxer to do a stick and move sparring match. Canelo wasn’t interested in simply scoring points with Lara. He was specifically head hunting to KO Lara. Believe it or not, but not all power punchers or ultra elite won’t go for a knockout for various reasons, especially if they feel during the fight they can coast for a win and just secure points knowing they can 2:1 over the other, and I’m referring to Lara not wanting to go for a KO. Think of it like a Broner, whom in his post career is criticized for not engaging. Some fighters simply do that and that’s the unfortunate luxury of making good money. Every fighter does it, even Canelo when he fought GGG. I thought the Draw was justified but I wouldn’t be mad had Canelo lost because it was a glorified sparring session which Canelo haters had no idea the fight would turn out like that. Most predicted GGg by KO before the 6th. Canelo came to show up in the rematch and judges take styles with circumstances, so benefit of doubt would ideally lean to the guy whom was still consistent with compubox but mixed it up.

                  as far as Lara, the Cuban was still being hit consistently to the body while on the flee. Canelo haters view it as Canelo couldn’t close the ring, but Lara doesn’t get benefit of doubt because he wasn’t a Champion. It might not seem like it when you’re watching boxing all the time, but Lara wasn’t Floyd nor in that circumstancial position such as unifying or defending. Floyd would get benefit of the doubt while on the flee, not Lara. Lara didn’t earn that to convince judges, plain and simple. I keep telling fans that boxing is a meritocracy. You gotta earn it to walk the walk. Let’s not exaggerate that Lara won or was robbed. That’s obnoxious. Lara never ran as much after his fights afterwards.

                    Saunders is in for a rude awakening when he realizes he can’t hit Canelo clean and gets countered hard
