He quit after a good solid jab so I'm thinking nose yeah. Unless he got the Dubois treatment

Even with the stoppage Yoka looked pretty ordinary against a relatively unknown cruiserweight.

He hits hard, and stuck to a fundamental game plan, but looked stiff for most of the bout, and his lack of head movement is a left hook KO waiting to happen.

This kids been wallowing in the tomato can zone for too long and needs to step up soon.

In his first 10 fights he beat Rice (Durable journeyman), David Allen, Dimitrenko, Duhaupus & Hammer. That is hardly tomato can zone.

Compared to the other prospects or even contenders he probably has the best resume with recognisable names in his first 10 fights. Heck he has a better resume than most heavyweights in the top 10, which really says something about the quality of the division right now...

You're not kidding. Yoka has some good victories in his 10 fights. Djeko is no pushover and always is game. The Belgian fighter has a good chin and is fairly difficult to land clean on. Yoka was having problems landing his right hook on Djeko and that seemed to frustrate him a bit. Tony kept a nice compact defense and didn't waste too many punches.

That being said, I have my questions about Yoka. I think a good fight would be Kabayel at this stage and would help him with rankings for a few sanctioning bodies (provided he wins). If he wants to face a domestic opponent then maybe Samuel Kadje.

Hammer gave him a hard time and the rest I consider journeymen or past their prime gatekeepers.
If he steps up to real gatekeepers like Chisora or Whyte and looks good then you got something, but I don't think he'll progress fighting this level of competition.
