I've been saying Mosley is the fight. That's why Mayweather retired and now they put Mosley last on the list. They want to fight him when he's 100.

I always beleived that Floyd never really wanted apart of a WW Cotto or Margarito but has always wanted Shane. The reason why he prefers Shane is because although he is super strong, he wont bully Floyd the way that Cotto & Margarito could. If Floyd gained weight then I think he would definatly fight Margarito or Cotto but when he retired I think he felt that he would beat them but could lose to them just on size alone. They would pressure him and he would have to pot shot and run. Mosley doesnt fight that way. Even when he stalks you, its not the same as a prime Cotto or Margarito doing it. Why do you think he wanted to fight Shane before the Oscar fight? That was legit. I dont understand why people cant see that.

Every fighter is differnt. Just because Floyd has not shown any real intrest in Cotto or Margarito doesnt mean that he would have no interest in Shane, even though alot of people probably think that Mosley is the harder fight of the 3. However, Roger said the same exact thing I said. You cant turn down a Pac fight unless they are totally trying to screw you. It has to be JMM, then Pac, and then Mosley. However, if Cotto beats Pac then I bet anything Mosley will be next or right after Berto. I say that because I still kind of fear Floyd going from JMM at 144 straight to Mosley at WW. That could be a physical shock to his system as Mosley would be so much stronger & faster than JMM. He may need a tuneup with Berto in between but he legitmatly wants Mosley and I think people who cant see that are fooling themselves
No offense dude, but that statement is totally simple minded. Mosley was the one imposing his will on Cotto during their fight and it caused Cotto to get fatigued in the championship rounds even though he outboxed Mosley at certain times during that fight. Bullying and muscling around the ring is exactly what played a big part of Mosley KOing Margarito. So how can you say those two guys have more capability of bullying Floyd when they were the ones who got muscled around by Mosley? It just doesn't add up.

The point is you cant get mad a Floyd for taking the big money fights 1st. Thats business. Its the same reason why Mosley wont fight Williams. Does anyone really beleive that Mosley is scared of Williams? Hell No but he knows he has bigger fights 1st. I think Mosley really wants to fight Williams but he aint fighting Williams before he fights Floyd or Pac and those 2 fights are still out there. Its the same with Floyd. I think he really wants Mosley but he aint fighting Mosley before he fights JMM & Pac and he would be a fool to do so. The only way he fights Mosley before Pac is if Arum tries to pimp him and that could legitimatly happened
same reason why SSM didnt fght May when May was moving up and calling him and others out

what you seem to forget is that Shane is a fighter at heart. at the end of the day hes a fighter with good boxing skills.

thats not enough to beat floyd. Floyd would pick shane apart b.c of his lack of defense compared to floyd

Mosley is done, his win over Margarito was a fluke. He had his fountain of youth sip one last time. Margs was checked in the Cotto fight and plastergate, Mosley just put the finishing touches on it. Mosley will lose to either Berto or Clottey next and hopefully PBF can focus on the better and hungrier challenges which are Pacman and Cotto
You are acting like Cotto scored some kind of devastating victory over Cotto, and that is just fanboy talk. Mosley outlanded Cotto by a large margin in power punches and had him fatigued and ready to go in the championship rounds. That is why I have never been interested in a Cotto-Mayweather fight because Cotto is overrated. In fact I think Mosley took Cotto's confidence away and Cotto has not been the same since. Mosley-Mayweather is the fight I've always clamored for even though it would've been nice if it would have happened a few years ago.

How do you feel about Shane Mosley?

Flody Mayweather Sr: "Yeah on my list but at the bottom. Shane is getting old and my boy or Pacquiao would take him out. Shane is talking up a storm just because he beat Margarito. He won because Margarito didn’t have the bricks in his gloves. Margarito just ******ly stood there and took all that punishment. Shane has some speed left but I still have some bad thoughts about him"

~Extremely odd how Roger feels differently compared with his brother. I understand that this is the same Mayweather who trained Hatton in his last outing but I got to wonder: is Roger trying to give unwarranted accolades to Mosley because they know they can take him?

ssm lost to cotto who gassed the last 4rds and was ready to fall like in the clottey fight. Thats why margie busted that azz becuz he refused to let him off the hook and he chased that azz down and commenced to beat his fatigued azz. So saying ssm is the best opposition for pbf is just smoke and mirrors by team mayweather becuz arum aint letting his cash cows near pbf so team mayweather is using ssm's dumb azz as a bargaining chip to fall back on. He will take the fight on pbf's terms and cant do shyt about it but act like paulie pre fight.

mosley is the toughest fight for floyd because mosley is a big WW, with good reach, good power, great durabilty, good stamina, great speed, good boxing skills.

the only minus for mosley is the fact that he is so old.

all that said, that still might not be enough to beat floyd BUT mosley is still the toughest fight out there for floyd.

I just kind of wish that they would've said this all along instead of Floyd referring to Shane as a sparring partner as an excuse of ducking him. You can bring up that toothache bull**** all you want, but at the end of the day they were separated by a weight division when Mosley said that after the Vargas fight. And Mayweather expected Shane to drop seven pounds in a two month time frame to meet the November deadline. And the Vargas-Mosley fight took place in September.

So to me, Floyd is just all talk when it comes to saying he wants to fight Mosley. How about the time frame that Mosley was the WBC interim champion and Floyd still wouldn't fight him? He went after Hatton instead. An easier fight for more money. And this was after Mosley white washed Collazo in a lopsided fight.
