because his return fight is against the lightweight champion at welterweight meanwhile the welterweight champion shane mosley has no fights scheduled.

i honestly would not advise mayweather to comeback against a pac or a mosley, desicions like that put the rails on momentum for a comeback fighter. Ask winky wright about coming back like that.

the best time for this fight was november 06, obviously shane wasnt going to fight mayweather back in 99/00/01, but the 06 ducking was pathetic, now when the fight happens, shane will be alot older, while it would still be a good fight, it would have been even better with mayweather coming off the judah win and mosley coming off that hilarious vargas ko.

but who's fought is that? He had his chance 2 times before and he said NO. Thats fact, it cant be disputed. Im not upset about it though. The point is you cant get mad a Floyd for taking the big money fights 1st. Thats business. Its the same reason why Mosley wont fight Williams.
