Roger Mayweather Wishes For Shane Mosley fight

I disagree with all of you guys. I think Floyd now and always has agreed with Roger 100% in regards to Mosley. Ive said it on here a million times that you can say what you want about Cotto or Margarito but dont tell me that Floyd doesnt want to fight Shane. He does. I always beleived that Floyd never really wanted apart of a WW Cotto or Margarito but has always wanted Shane. The reason why he prefers Shane is because although he is super strong, he wont bully Floyd the way that Cotto & Margarito could. If Floyd gained weight then I think he would definatly fight Margarito or Cotto but when he retired I think he felt that he would beat them but could lose to them just on size alone. They would pressure him and he would have to pot shot and run. Mosley doesnt fight that way. Even when he stalks you, its not the same as a prime Cotto or Margarito doing it. Why do you think he wanted to fight Shane before the Oscar fight? That was legit. I dont understand why people cant see that.

Every fighter is differnt. Just because Floyd has not shown any real intrest in Cotto or Margarito doesnt mean that he would have no interest in Shane, even though alot of people probably think that Mosley is the harder fight of the 3. However, Roger said the same exact thing I said. You cant turn down a Pac fight unless they are totally trying to screw you. It has to be JMM, then Pac, and then Mosley. However, if Cotto beats Pac then I bet anything Mosley will be next or right after Berto. I say that because I still kind of fear Floyd going from JMM at 144 straight to Mosley at WW. That could be a physical shock to his system as Mosley would be so much stronger & faster than JMM. He may need a tuneup with Berto in between but he legitmatly wants Mosley and I think people who cant see that are fooling themselves

No offense dude, but that statement is totally simple minded. Mosley was the one imposing his will on Cotto during their fight and it caused Cotto to get fatigued in the championship rounds even though he outboxed Mosley at certain times during that fight. Bullying and muscling around the ring is exactly what played a big part of Mosley KOing Margarito. So how can you say those two guys have more capability of bullying Floyd when they were the ones who got muscled around by Mosley? It just doesn't add up.

I disagree with that. I know what youre saying and I figure alot of people would think that after what I said but its different. Its 2 totally different kind of pressures. Anyone can pressure someone but that doesnt mean your are bullying the guy. Floyd has had more then a few fights where he has walked guys down but that doesnt mean that he was bullying them. Thats why I seperated it. Shane can stalk you but Margarito & Cotto can bully you. Its just like how Castillo gave him trouble. Thats how Cotto & Margarito can fight. Mosley is a different style even when he's stalking. Its more of a physical thing where you feel like you cant breath. Its different dude. I dont know if either Cotto or Margarito can do that now because both seem like they may be different now but in there prime they are much more bullying than Mosley.

Even a guy like Mayorga. No one stalks & pressures more than him with pure KO power but its not a bully type style. Matter of fact, lets just talk about the guys that both of us are talkin about. Both Mosley & Margarito started stalking Cotto but which one bullied him? And that was more then just gloves. Its there styles. I even say the same thing about Clottey. Clottey stalks a ton in his fights also but he's not going to bully you. Thats why I think Floyd is way more willing to fight them then Margarito & Cotto. Its 2 different types of pressure

I think this is a clear an indication that SSM is on the list, as Roger wouldn't be saying this without having discussed the possibility with Floyd Jr. If Floyd was scared of Mosley this wouldn't be discussed.

TBH the best thing for boxing would probably be PBF to beat Marquez then beat Pacquiao so that we get the biggest fight that could be made but then also more of a chance of seeing Pac-JMM III (this wouldn't happen if Pac beat Floyd and JMM didn't). Then we see Floyd taking on Mosley and Cotto.
