Discuss the difference in execution between Cotto and Mosley against Margarito

I also agree with a comment earlier. I think SSM smothered Margo...tied him up when he had the chance and pounded him with power shots. It was a better strategy than Cottos. Cotto did the best he could...more power to them both.

He is a quesion who would win in a cheater belt match up Margo with loaded wraps...or SSM with BALCO Cream lol ??

two differences between the fights. Mosley clinched, Cotto didnt. The other difference was Margarito. Margarito had this look in his eye in the Cotto fight that nothing was going to stop him. Against Mosley, that look was gone.

I also find it funny that most ppl here praise Mosley for the fight and his use of clinching, but bash other boxers for doing it.

TS said it himself, Cotto used a bad strategy against Margarito, he sticked and move and used the ring to much. Contrary to him, Mosley didn't let Margarito feel confident and FORCE him to respect his punching power by throwing hard shots and moving but not going backwards.

Cotto backing up gave Margarito a sense of confidence, that he could go through every Cotto punches. Cotto in the rematch will have to repeat what he did the first rounds with less backing up, more side to side movements, and with more power shots to the body at the beginning.
