BJS is a guy who fights to the level of his opposition. Which is gonna be an advantage for a fight with Canelo not a disadvantage. Most of the fights you mentioned were bs fights for him & for better or worse he doesn't get up for those types of fights. He's kinda like Tyson Fury in that way who you usually see him at his best vs his best opponents & at his worst against ho hum opposition. I don't condone that type of outlook, but I can see how you could get into that mindset when boxing requires so much of you.
And the Eubank fight was his first real fight you could argue & I think he coasted more than he gassed. He knew he was winning & did enough to get the win while not putting too much at risk. That W was massively important to making a name for himself in boxing.
