Lol what is Arum guna do? It seems Hearns fights don't tend to go to purse bids cuz he pays them well but even when they do its cuz they ain't worth Jack chit. Is Bob going to put bid Hearn when he won't even attempt to win the bids on his own fighters?

I can't see this Triller company making their money back on the fight though if I'm honest.

I’m happy this is happening in terms of fighters getting more money.

Hopefully this fight does well enough that Triller or Hearn ponies up enough to make Teo/Haney next.

IMO, Triller has great potential value in being able to offer enough to entice top guys to fight the “high risk, low reward “ fights because the reward is now there.

IMO, Triller leads to teo/Haney, canelo/bietbiev or Bivol, and fights like that then we as boxing fans really benefit.

worst case scenario for hearn. was threatened by arum to not bid, he bids anyway beating out espn but dark horse thriller out of nowhere beats them all. so hearn doesn't win the fight and still likely ruined a business relationship going forward with top rank. so it was for nothing

If Bob is not paying his fighters market value fook em. This is how boxing works. If Bob is going to lengths to fook over his own boxers finding their value he shouldn't be promoting guys once he can't afford them. Just cut Teo lose if you gotta threaten other promoters to not bid on events he wants to short change his own guys on. Bob is a cancer to boxers once they reach a certain level.

And sh^t Bob gets butthurt about something with Eddie at least once a month. I highly doubt this "relationship" is ruined.

Can someone tell me what was the point of what hearn did? I mean none of him are his fighters and 3mil is still overpaying. Teo beat loma but its not like it made him an automatic draw.

Eddie the snake just ruined that relationship for no reason lol. He lost the purse bid and lost a business partner.

Bob Arum understands the game. This business is a crap shoot. However, he will get over it though because there will be other opportunities for the two companies to work together again. Besides, Matchroom and Eddie Hearn always look out for their friends.
