Pavlik-Williams on Dec. 5, Mosley-Clottey on Dec. 26?

this fight doesn't do nothing for mosley. i dont know why he would take this fight at this stage. mosley is a true warrior.

it does alot...Mosleys better off fighting CLottey for a couple reasons..

1.To stay busy and in peoples minds.
2.fight a contender not a new guy coming up..
3.Keep his WW status up

CLottey has fought and lost to top WW..rito and Cotto..Shane would be stacking his resume up and solidifying his WW status..fighting Berto would do absolutely nothing for his legacy..Everybody will say..well its what we expected..bertos too young..he hasnt fougth anybody but collazo who he really lost to.

Clottey can't handle Mosley. After watching the Cotto fight
I am convinced that Clottey will stay where he is at in the
sport. Not trying to rag on him because Clottey is a tough
guy but he just doesn't have that killer instinct to push him
over the top. The way he lets his opponents tee off on him
to wait for one counter opportunity will be his down fall
against Mosley. Molsey has too much speed and power
to allow him to get off on you. Cotto had the right plan
and that was to box Mosley, I don't think Clottey will beat
Mosley.

clottey has a killer instinct, go watch his fight with diego corrales..when he thinks he has you hurt he goes in for the kill immediately..to be honest i dont think shane is as technically sound as cotto is..and quite frankly that will/would be his downfall against clottey..people dont realize the traps that clottey puts you in in the ring..for example when he would go into a corner and lure his opponent in and rip them with combinations..he did it to cotto and corralles..i see clottey countering shane all night with the straight right hand. and mosley getting frustrated and getting off his game because of clottey's defense. clottey by UD with scores like 115-113 116-112

Clottey is a much better fighter than Berto and stronger! We allready saw what Collazo did to Berto and couldnt even do nothing to Mosley! Clottey went twelve with Cotto and so did Mosley so its a pretty even match even though he destroyed Margarito and Cotto couldnt but we all know why (MARG CHEATED)!!! So who ever is saying Berto Better and that Mosley is ducking, get your facts straight, He was in negotiations with both fighters for over 2 weeks, I bet it was that there was more money and that thier resumes Matched pretty good in the last few years. We have to remember Mosley beat marg Clottey couldnt and berto has'nt fought have of the guys Clottey has and also has no defense, it will be a walk in the park if he was to fight Moslet!!

Exactly, because Clottey should have been on top because
he is a good fighter but he is missing that thing that will
take him to the next level. Same as Collazo. Could be as
simple as the trainer. Clottey should have beat Margarito
and Cotto because he was/is definitely a more rounded
fighter than both. I think Clottey just have to be busier
and let his hands go.

well the thing is cotto did a good job of hiding that he was hurt..he was moving around the ring i believe in the 9th round clottey hurt him but he was moving around trying to play it off like he wasnt hurt and clottey fell for it..but trust me if cotto started to get wobbly like he did with torres and corley. clottey would of went in for the kill and probably would of taken him out..and another thing your almost saying he SHOULD of been able to take cotto out as if cotto is some journeyman or something..cotto is a tough guy..i mean look what it took for margarito to get him out of there..torres couldnt finish him and corley couldnt finish him..and cotto went on to stop them both

Clottey has to let his hands go more and be more active
also he has to learn how to cut off the ring. cotto shouldn't
have been able to dance around him like that. There were
times when Clottey was walking to Cotto in a defensive
stance. Even Clottey's corner was telling him to let his
hands go.
