Who did you have winning the Cotto-Mosley fight?

I'm going to be honest, I'm a Shane Mosley fan. Always have been,always will be. I grew up on Shane. Still loved him after Forrest and Winky when everyone else gave up on him and jumped off the band wagon.

With that said, i own the fight on dvr, it's one of my favorite fights to watch and i've watched it a lot. I think Cotto one that fight. I've never seen my boy Mosley hit with such clean,accurate punches,before that fight or since that fight. Cotto's performance in that fight made me a Cotto fan.

I think Cotto might have lost it but it was so close and they always give it in such close fights to the undefeated guy as he can make more money "with it" and you know, the bigger the pie, the more get to feast, that's the reasoning here. Nevertheless i think Cotto did splendid in that fight and it was one of the most accomplished for him, despite Mosley already being 36 years of age. Unfortunately for Cotto, he took allot of damage in that fight second only to his Margarito bout. People still don't see this but Cotto is damaged goods, sad to say. But hey don't worry he did good and cashing out against the p4p king isn't a bad farewell party. And i'm sure Cotto will go out all guns blazing too so expect fireworks!

Cotto won easy for me. I'm black, I like Shane (not a hugger though), but he lost bad. The man was hella confused on what to do throughout the fight and was consistently being beat to the punch thwarting any momentum he kept managing. When he saw the bout getting away from him, he did the natural thing and made a fight of it, but there was no plan for Miguel by him and his dad. They clearly went in there thinking they were going to knock him out after seeing Judah bother him early imo.

In fact, look at Shane's face in the corner at the end of round 5. He's spent almost the first half of the bout trying to put Cotto's lights out and he's already behind. Not really any combinations going on. The expression on his face says it all... he can't believe that he's in a real fight. Cotto wasn't supposed to be that good. For the first time during round 6 he switches gears and tries to box instead..

it was crazy stuff watching what appeared to be a 0 plan from the Mosley camp.

I had cotto by 2 rounds but I see where it couldve been a draw. The fight was real close IMO. I wonder why Mosley wasnt aggresive like he was vs Margarito.....

what do you think? Maybe he respected Cottos boxing skills more that Margaritos??

Margarito and Cotto just have different styles. Cotto has better boxing skills than Margarito and also kept that snapping jab out there, throwing it at the right times, and throwing those quick short shots as well. Mosley saw more of Margarito's wide shots coming and was able to avoid them. Mosley's better in a slugfest than a boxing match.

lmao, you actually think mosley can outbox mayweather? mayweather would school mosley in a UD.....just cuz mosley looks good against mexican fighters don't mean ****. Mayweather is a diffrent animal! Look at Mosley vs AMERICAN FIGHTERS and you'll see. Mosley himself said he likes to face mexican becuase they'll be right in front of him. he CANNOT HANDLE A BOXER LIKE MAYWEATHER.
