Pac landed 65 out of 105 power punches against Hatton - 62% of them landed on target. Against De la Hoya, Pacquiao landed 59 percent of his power punches (195 of 333). And you call that wild? He's one of the most accurate punchers in the sport today, as well as just being just about the fastest.

He didn't even predict that he'd definitely win, let alone by KO. He just said that it would be a war. And I'd be very surprised if he's wrong about that.

Boxers are notorious for being very bad at predicting and analysing fights. Most of the best boxing analysts have never been professional boxers.

If the fight goes to the cards and was pretty close then Pac takes the decision for the simple fact that theirs tooooo much money to pass up on a Floyd vs. Manny fight.

Cotto is a bigger test for Pac just like all the rest of them and im pretty damn sure Roach, Moore, and Team Pac will be studying Cotto.

I just hope to see a good fight cause both of these fighters are my current favs.

War? what war? Cotto can't war. Oh you mean like how he ran from Mosley in the last three rounds and how Margarito took him to the ropes all night? OK I see what he means by war now. lol Cotto has way too many fans. You would think he was a knockout fighter or something. As far as I'm conserned, he's never lived up to what Trinidad was. Trinidad just moved up too much in weight if anything bad can be said about him.

"Ran" from Mosley... that should be your first clue right there ;-)

And I've never heard anybody say that Miguel shied away from Margarito... in fact, just the contrary... many ppl have said that he shouldn't have traded so much with Margarito (and if we consider that he might have had plaster in those gloves, we can surely understand why Cotto backpedaled in the last rounds of the Margarito fight).

Miguel Cotto can be accused of many things, not being a warrior is not one of them.

Remember Morales can't be compared to Cotto since Cotto is on a different level.
Alot of Pacquiao Huggers are underestimating Cotto....fans and "experts" are seeing this as "to close to call"....

So Cotto is training like "never before" for this fight and he wants it bad? So how was he training for Margarito? Clottey? Mosley? Judah? Jennings?
Funny how he is "training like never before" to face a former 106 lb. fighter who is at best a 135-140 lb fighter....I like how the fab five above (except for Jennings) are all elite (at one time) Welterweight Champs....

Agreed on the cut scenario...if Cotto gets a cut...Pacquiao will unload to that side of Cotto's face...BUT...Pac can't get careless otherwise Cotto WILL catch him to the body....IF Pacquiao get's KOd...it will be via brutal body shot...too much headmovement from Pac to get caught flush to the face.

                  @TOMA BOXIMG

Point 1. He fought a bum in david diaz. Why didnt he fight the better juys at that division?

a bum... a champion bum... please separate the wet ones from the dry ones...

                  2. He fought dehydrated over the hill; oscar de lahoya. Anyone could have beaten oscar that night. Hell he couldnt evan knock him down. What makes anyone think he can knock down or out a welter weight who hasnt been knocked out.

                  12/06/08 Fight Night
Manny: hey Oscar, you look kinda dry. Should I pull out?
Oscar: mind your own biz boy... I'm trying to prove somethin' here...
                  Manny: but...
Oscar: no buts, just fight. I can manage. I'm a Mexican not a Mexican't...

                  It's ODLH's fault.. get it?

                  3. He fought bummy ricky hatton. Ricky hatton sucks and he was made to order for pac.

yeah... a bum that launch a thousand Brits... how I wish...

                  4. He had a draw in his first fight with marquez and lost the second. He got hurt by marquez in both fights.

Correct!!! JMM hurt Manny.............'s feelings by not laying on the canvass long enough to be counted out... Manny feels like he's been cheated 4 times...

                  5. He got beat by erik morales in his first fight. Mind you erik morales had already been in some wars with barrera.

right on the spot!!! before meeting eric, manny is untouched in his previous fights... he was often referred to as "the ghost"... can't see me a la John Cena...

                  6. He fought an old barrera.

yeah... during their first meeting, Marco is already in a wheel chair... and in their second encounter, a priest is included in Marco's corner... ever ready to deliver the final sacrament is ever sh?t happens...

                  7. He fights bummy oppositon or great fighters that are over the hill.

redundant: characterized by verbosity or unnecessary repetition in expressing ideas; prolix: a redundant style. pls refer to column 1, 2, 5, and 6...

Think about it mannys record and fights seem reminiscent of floyd mayweather jr.

No doubt mannys exciting to watch and great for the sport of boxing but far from all time great or being compared to armstrong.

you are right... Armstrong is Armstrong, and PAC is PAC... sorry 'bout the sarcasm...GODspeed^^

                    RIGHT!!!!!

There is a reason pacq chose cotto and a reason neither chose to fight ssm. pacq is ducking pbf and cotto is ducking pw! They both are very good but extremely limited!

Cotto one year ago on DLH vs Pacquiao: "Fights like this are ruining boxing".

Cotto on Pacquiao one year later: "Our fight will be a war".

                      Talk about hypocrisy.
