Manny is not going to KO him, he will have to avoid being hit for 12 rounds... 36 year old Oscar and limited Hatton do not gauge what Cotto can do....
I agree. Roach is going to kick himself for not sticking Manny in the ring with a legit 147 lber before going after Cotto. He should have went for Collazo or Quintana first. Hatton and DLH were carefully selected fights, and have in no way prepared Pac for an increase in class of opponent.

hatton is overrated. he beat a washed up tzsyu and castillo. his arms are to short so he can't box. his hold and hit style caught up with his ass against the elite. mayweather ruined his chin and pac finished him. so stay retired ricky the get hitman hatton.

Pac will eat his fair share of leather in this fight and you have to ask yourself as a Pacquiao fan, can he hang with the power of a legit welterweight who appears to be in his prime? Cotto has fought and eaten shots from massive welterweights (Clottey, Margarito) and dangerous punchers (Judah, Mosley). Who has Pacquiao ever fought that could bring the pain like the above mentioned fighters?
size is not everything in boxing, especially if you are fighting a pacquiao. eg. hatton took heavy blows by collazo tzsyu castillo. delahoya has been in with hopkins sturm. that didn't really mean **** when they fought pac did it.

I can't believe people don't think a fighter with an average chin and mediocre punch resistance like Cotto somehow can't be hurt by Pacquiao. I really don't get it.

Like yourself I'm a fan first and even if I do like a fighter alot I do reconize the other fighter for what he is. This is an exciting matchup and will be an action fight. Wouldn't be suprised if Manny pulled it of and we will be witnessing in out time one of the best fighters in boxing. Some people just are to bias with the fighter they like and are not really fans of the sport.

Nothing about Cotto's chin has been mediocre at welterweight. Judah, Mosley and Rockhands proved that. What's wrong with you?

Pac has incredible speed that Cotto has never seen before. And he has NATURAL power. It doesn't come from his size, it comes from within. Cotto is gonna feel that power, and he's not gonna like it. He'll run again.
