im stating the fact that this nothing new. the more you discredit pacs opponents the more incentive he has to show all the doubters wrong. talking like that will only make pac more determined. discrediting his accomplishments will only come back to bit cotto on his ass.

Beating Hatton wasn't that great of an accomplishment at that point. Freddie Roach handpicked Hatton because he looked like a wounded duck ever since he fought Floyd, he practically said the same himself.

but its so easy to say hatton is overated after pac demolished him. he was unbeaten in his division and atop 10 p4ponder. just look at the malignaggi performance which shows he demolished a decent fighter in malignaggi. the way i see it people will discredit pacs opponents untill he looses or faces mayweather. its realy sad because in hindsite a lot of people were saying he would get beat by oscar and hatton, now he gets close to 0 credit.

            A real war

I agree with miguel that this would be really a war between two heroes of their country.I will not give an edge in each fighter and the would be winner of this fight is the more intelligent fighter in the ring. Both fighters has speed and power in both hands..the best game plan and the well executed game plan will prevail.if pacman will open a cut in cotto's in early or middle round then miguel is in danger..if miguel can hit pacman to the body and tire him out then pacman is in danger as the round ends..k o can go either way...you hold your breath up to the end of 12 rd..dont blink...

It will not be a mismatch for sure!

We just don't know if Pacquiao can take Cotto's punches.

He did not "demolish" Paulie. If you want to see Paulie get demolished, check his face after he's done against Cotto.

Paulie arguably stunned Hatton in that fight when Ricky recklessly lunged in once, so from my perspective, he had shown some chin wear in 4 of 5 fights before Pacquiao. It's hard for me to give all the credit to Manny when Hatton's jaw had already been chipped away at.

i love all this talk, what will Cotto say if he ends up losing to Pac-Man!!!

Cotto is out of line trying to disparage Pac-Man's accomplishments!!!

Pacquiao is MUCH better defensively than Cotto. I have a feeling Cotto will be whiffing at air for as long as the fight lasts.
