Ok, Roach have said couples of times that Pac doesnt plan to stand in front of Cotto and trade with him. We all know that Cotto have problem with big pressure fighters and be fighting backwards, So if they dont put pressure its gonna be difficult to win for Pac. But Im pretty sure that PAC's warrior instinct will emerge and will engage and trade, That'll be his fall or maybe not. I dont think Cottos gonna run away from the smaller guy, so this will be more comfortable fight for him. Pac's speed is gonna be a major factor of course and if you watched Cotto/Judah fight you know that Cotto got rocked really badly by those fast uppercuts by Zab(also southpaw), and we all know that Pac throws a lot more punches from different angles than ZAB. Pac has been my favorite fighter for the last 2 or 3 years because he like to warrr, but Cottos my boy from Puerto Rico. Im pickin Cotto to win if he comes ready to fight 20 rounds, he cant fade in late rounds or hell take a beatin.

Not one bit am i concerned about his stamina lacking the last few fights.Or in general for this fight.It all comes down to him fighting the bigger welter weights for that result.He's fighting a smaller ww.....a jr WW so to speak.It all comes down as to who can take the bigger HITS.

His path to fame started at 140.But he was fighting at a range he needed to move north to.Stamina wasnt the issue.Cutting and being weight drained was.

First of all Manny is very hittable. He jumps in to throw his combos and Cotto is one of the best at timing. He is going to time it perfect and rock Mannys world. Manny has never been hit by a true WW. If Manny can take Cottos punches then Cotto is in for a tough fight.

That being said Manny does hit hard himself too and Cotto is very suspect but if Cotto takes his punches then its all over for manny.

They both have flaws and I think Cotto will expose mannys more.

how did you know that pac is very hittable? are you basing your thoughts on the marquez fight? if yes, then you shouldnt. marquez is an excellent counter puncher who can time pac between his punches. on the other hand, miguel can counter but hes nowhere as good as marquez.

and regarding pac taking a punch for a legit welter, i have a feeling that he can take miguels punches but not too much. its also one of the many reasons why i wanna see this fight cause i wanna know the answer to the question if he can take a welters punch

cotto can definitely take mannys punches, but its not like manny will throw a single punch trying to hurt miguel. ifever cotto folds, like ive been always saying, its due to the accumulation of punches

I really enjoy hearing what Roach has to say whenever he speaks of an upcoming bout. The man is obviously very knlowledgeable in the sport, in fact the statement where Cotto has not been the same tactical boxer as he has been prior (to Margaritos bout,) is very true in my opinion. Perhaps it is all of the personal issues currently surrounding his family or maybe the hunger isn't there only Cottto himself could answer that, but within that strategy Pacquiao is going to try and outbox one of the best boxer's in the sport is still highly questionable. Pacquiao can perhaps be described as the perfect pressure boxer and to change such style in one of the most important fights in his career would be extremely dangerous...

he can attack from weird angles, but his ribs won't be at a weird angle

cotto doesn't have to go head hunting. he never does. pac does it, and he could very well end up the fight in that fashion

if he doesn't hit cotto with something big and KO's him, i see cotto taking over the fight and ending 8-10 round KO with accumulated punishment

ive said this before, cotto is a good body puncher if he have the target in front of him. pac wont stand in front of him to get hit and we all know that. hes also good when hes got his opponent trapped on the ropes but pacs good footwork will cause him problems catching pac on the ropes

its more realistic to say that if the fight reaches the late rds of 8-10, pac might win it. ifever cotto wins, i think it will be in early to mid rds
