First of all Manny is very hittable. He jumps in to throw his combos and Cotto is one of the best at timing. He is going to time it perfect and rock Mannys world. Manny has never been hit by a true WW. If Manny can take Cottos punches then Cotto is in for a tough fight.

That being said Manny does hit hard himself too and Cotto is very suspect but if Cotto takes his punches then its all over for manny.

They both have flaws and I think Cotto will expose mannys more.

thats the thing, he gets tired of people who comes forward and stands right in front of him. pac will attack him from weird angles so i see him tiring around rds 8-9

ifever pac stops cotto, it wont be a one punch knockout like ricky hatton. i think it will be due to the accumulation of punches

he can attack from weird angles, but his ribs won't be at a weird angle

cotto doesn't have to go head hunting. he never does. pac does it, and he could very well end up the fight in that fashion

if he doesn't hit cotto with something big and KO's him, i see cotto taking over the fight and ending 8-10 round KO with accumulated punishment

1.Cotto at 140 couldnt even bloom to his best abillities.He was like a pittbull trapped in a bird cage.

This fight really comes down to if Cotto can withstand Pac's power because everyone knows Manny will tag the often lax defense of Cotto with some nice straight shots. If these shots make Cotto think twice and leave him hesitant, then Pac will turn it on and eventually lay the beats on Cotto and possibly KO him.

I'm neutral in this, I'm just a white dude who respects both of these fighters, but I believe a revived Cotto will show up for this fight eager to win and prove himself worthy of beating a smaller man, even one with the skills of Pacman. Cotto is a warrior who is underrated in my opinion and has faced really solid competition as of late. He hasn't destroyed has last few opponents (namely Mosley and Clottey) but I feel Pac would get KO'd by both of these guys, especially Mosley.

Anyway, if Cotto can take Pac's power in stride, I believe we will see Cotto's power then take effect on the smaller man en route to a possible KO or UD. Cotto has some skills, unlike Hatton and a totally washed up De La Hoya.
