Yeah come fight night cotto will most likely weigh close to about 156.On all of his fights thats what he blows up to after rehydrating.
if it goes all 12? He shows significant signs of gassing 6-7 rounds in. He's just not an endurance kinda guy.

You know he weighs 156 on all of his fights...lets see the last fight he had an unofficial weigh in was Urkal and he came in at 159 fight night. Since then no unofficial weigh ins but visually he looks bigger/healthier now than when he first moved into WW so I doubt he's coming in at 156, 160+ more likely.

        against a bigger mosley

        against a 5'11 1/2 margarito

        against a 170 pounds clottey

what does pacman have to back cotto up and make him fight backwards?

I have to say that Freddy roach will get a big surprise with Miguel Cotto. He thinks Cotto will be close to De la Hoya and Hatton. Cotto knows how to box, he proved against Mosley when he beat him by unanimous decision, Cotto has proved himself many time how to counter punch with different styles, Cotto has proved how to move in the ring when he needs to, Cotto has proved how to cut a ring and get someone in a corner or against the rope. It's Pacquiao faster than Cotto?, everybody knows that, but when Cotto punch Pacquiao very hard you will see how he is going to back up until the end of his reign. Cotto will destroy Pacquiao between 6-8 rounds, not because Pacquiao is a bad boxer or because Cotto is better than him, just because both of them have close abilities; one of them is stronger and very conscious how to prepare for his adversaries and that person is Miguel Angel Cotto.

At this point can Cotto really be "exposed?" We pretty much know what Cotto struggles against.

Although I'm sick of getting my ass handed to me every time I pick against Freddie Roache's fighters, I think this time is different. I think size really will be the difference in this one...Manny has carried the extra weight very well, but adding muscle only goes so far. A man's natural frame can't be altered - you can bulk up, but come November, we'll all see a "very, very good" natural welterweight in with a "great" lightweight. Cotto's natural girth might be Pac's Waterloo in the sense that there are real limits to how big a guy can go when he starts off as small as Manny did. Cotto on the other hand, has been within a 10 lb. range his entire pro career, and suprisingly enough, came in a pound light for the Clottey fight last time out, so I don't see him coming in as a dead man (a la ODH) in his fight w/ Pac. If Cotto can time Manny with his jab (and that's a big "if"), he can negate the greatest asset Pacquiao brings to the table. Lets remember - Cotto is big, rough, and battle-hardened against the best of his era, save PBF. I'll be betting against Roach and Pac ONE LAST TIME...

Nothin to excuse. Cotto's vulnerabilities are already known. Pac might exploit that and beat him, but he ain't exposin anything.

he has 2 hands. if pac can hurt cotto with a single punch,he can definitely back him up. i doubt if cotto will keep coming forward if he is hurt.

i just hope this fight lives up to its expectations both are great fighters and cottos has the same chance of kayoing pac, but the fact that roach is sayin he will expose cotto, how, margarito already exposed him and thats how u beat cotto nonstop puching and pressure. dnt be surprised if cotto ends up kayoing pacman
