It's a close call, but I'd give it to fighter A. We'd have to see just how much fighter B's power punches hurt fighter A, especially since only 10 landed, which means they were few and far between. By throwing so many punches, most of them jabs, fighter A stopped fighter B from executing his gameplan, and he was controlling the action. Also, if he is a good jabber, those shots might be doing more than just scoring points, they could also inflict some damage. It's a difficult situation, and I'd have to see the fight, but based on all of the above, I give it to fighter A.
You mean like causing a cut.....maybe around the eye just as a random out of the blue example?

True, but he can't be given much credit for accuracy when he threw such a small number of punches.

If one basketball player took 100 three pointers in a season and made 35, is it fair to say that another player who made 5 out of 10 is a better shooter? I think not.

        Perhaps

I was going to put that in the message but thought it would be too obvious

          For fighter B.

          To me Power Shots>Jabs.

Thats is power shots that visabily stun your opponnent and cause him to cinch compared to pitty pat jabs.

I would have to see the actual footage. If its the Diaz fight then would have to know which round. Clean punching is only one judging criteria. Paulie in many rounds kept Juan from doing what he normally does, thats the one thing you have to ask yourself, who is doing what he wants to do in the ring, Diaz wasnt doing what he wanted to do in the fight, while Paulie was for the most part.

You can't really score it without seeing it...

Fighter A was effective with his jab, there is no denying that, and he gets credit for catching his on rushing opponent with it, playing the role of matador a bit. The bull to this matador (and we all know we're talking about a BABY BULL) however, was unaffected by these shots, pressed the action, and fought the more "positive fight". I give it to fighter B as his work had more of an effect on fighter A. he was less active, but more effective.
