    A good example of power shots holding more weight than jabs is Joel Julio vs Jose Varela. Julio dropped Varela like 5 times, but Varela outlanded Julio 119-114 through out the 5 rounds that the fight went. Make no mistake, Varela was dominated and was never really in the fight, but he did land alot of jabs.

      fighter B.. im one to like the boxer type fighter but if i see the boxer get hurt nd clinching il go with the other guy. fighter b was more effective pressing the action. fighter b chose to get hit with those jabs in exhange to hurt his opponent
