A good example of power shots holding more weight than jabs is Joel Julio vs Jose Varela. Julio dropped Varela like 5 times, but Varela outlanded Julio 119-114 through out the 5 rounds that the fight went. Make no mistake, Varela was dominated and was never really in the fight, but he did land alot of jabs.

fighter B.. im one to like the boxer type fighter but if i see the boxer get hurt nd clinching il go with the other guy. fighter b was more effective pressing the action. fighter b chose to get hit with those jabs in exhange to hurt his opponent

He lands 1 powers punches out of 6 thrown.He is visabally effected on the majority of the power punches landed on him.He is either moving backward or circiling most of round stopping to fight in spots or clinching when hit with power shots.He usually iniates the action with a flurry of jabs.

Fighter B lands 11 punches. 10 of which were power shots. He comes forward the entire round, dosent iniate any clinches .The majority of his power punches effect his oponnent to the point he has to clinch.He blocks the majority of his oppents punchs as he comes in, but he does get hit a decent amount but never stumbles or take a step back.
