So then you're saying that this fight is hurting boxing then
Why don't we call the Floyd-Marquez fight what it really is?

Everyone thinks this is just a tune up for PBF.
JMM is being written off mainly because of the size and strength difference. But as the TS points out, they aren't too different weight and size wise.
I reckon JMM is gonna shock alot of people in this fight, and PBF's two year lay off will have an effect.Comment

I consider it an ok fight, I really do not see a bad thing about 2 great fighters going at it, one is a little bigger that happeans all the time though.Comment

I'm usually pretty good at calling fights and I think Marquez will push Mayweather all the way but will ultimately lose after Mayweather adjusts at some point in the final 3rd. Yes, that's right, I think Mayweather's intelligence and ability will be the determining factor as opposed to his gigantic power advantageComment

You hate Mayweather so much that you come up with these type of ignorant comments. This fight is no "farce" If it's a "farce" then Cotto -Pacquiao is a "farce". Fighters move up in weight and always have if you follow boxing history which you probably don't.Comment

I agree. Mangler's trippin' over this ****.
Those two are practically the same size. Floyd is a natural 130 pounder who's been fighting **** guys at higher weights.
He's just as blown up a super feather as JMM is. He's just been at it longer.Comment

I've **** on Pac-Cotto equally. Why? The catchweights. Fighters dominate their divisions or outgrow em, they move. Common practice. No beef wit that. But if you ain't outgrown your present division, fuck a halfassed move up. Go all the way or not at all. Why ain't these full fledged 147 lb fights? Cuz the lil guys can't be effective there. By demandin catchweights, they admit that physically, it's man against boy. In that case, the WW's prove jack **** by beatin em. Get off my nuts foo.Last edited by MANGLER; 08-24-2009, 02:51 PM.Comment
