LOL he said he was the most dreadful referee in boxing or something, it was funny how Lampley said it though he was like I hate to say this but cole is the worst something to that tone.

I forgot but wasn't it lampley who keeps mentioning Cole being the son of ****ie Cole the commissioner?

Speaking of strange reffing, does anybody remember that one ref that told the fighters to calm down and Merchant gets pissed off at him? I think it was Vic Drachulich (however you spell it) during a Floyd fight years ago...Strange thing to tell two fighters..
Remember the Texas ref who reffed the Rocky Juarez vs. Zahir Raheem fight? dude was biased toward Juarez he kept telling Zahir to stop holding on the back of the head and breaking it up or cuttiing it, the thing is Zahir would have won thta fight easy but the ref interfered so much it worked in Rocky's favor. It was one of the worst fixed reffing jobs I ever seen.

LOL I found it, watch it one of the worst refs ever he was clearly paid by ****ie cole to give Rocky help to win. He even yells at Rahim telling him stop that wrestling stop holding behind the head damn this was horrible to watch, gotta feel bad for Zahir. The ref Robert Gonzalez even deducts point for holding behind the head lol.

Mentioned it earlier. I mean Lomachenko was clinching alot but I don't think a ref should touch a fighter without first yelling break or stopping the fight. By grabbing Lomachenko's arm he could have caused Salido to be able to catch Loma and ko him. Also, I noticed he was not breaking them properly and in the middle rounds Salido tried to catch Loma on the break because the ref didn't actually ask them to break but was pushing them apart.

Yeah man I'll give that a watch when I get the chance...Must be annoying (to a say the least) for a fighter to train for weeks on end, enter a fight trying to win just to get blatantly done over by the official(s)...I hate it when you see a ref so blindingly obviously making an impression on the fight in favour of one of the boxers involved. Sometimes there are genuine mistakes, like when Bayless called it that Mosley knocked Pacquiao down, but other times like the one you mention are just inexcusable in my opinion.

Yeah Bayless is a class act, he admit he made a mistake in that fight. Bayless and Smoger are the best in the game. The best before was Mills Lane.

Yeah I like Smoger for how he lets the fight go on, doesn't interfere too much usually. Bayless as you say is a class act, the best today if I had to pick.

But the best in recent memory? As you said, Mills Lane takes that. How he handled Holyfield-Tyson II was very well done considering how rare of a foul it/they where.

Can you imagine Laurence Cole having to deal with Tyson biting Holyfield!? Jesus Christ...

Wait a second, wasn't Bayless the guy who refereed mathyse vs garcia. Ok he dropped the ball in that one. Maybe it's just one bad fight.

Oh, it was beautiful, the way Lampley laid into Cole. "Dreadful." lol I was so happy to see that POS get exposed and humiliated like that on national TV. What's needed now is an investigation. Let's start with checking bank accounts. Any unexplainable large deposits? They need to go back years. As this thread clearly demonstrates, Cole has been su****ious for quite a while.
