While it would obviously be a good thing to remove the worst offenders, the whole structure of professional boxing lends itself to corrupt officiating. The sport is essentially about who'll play ball with the big money promoters.

Texas will play ball with anyone, which is why it continues to get big fights when most fans would only be too happy to never have a fight fixed there again.

So what are you gonna do? Regulate the sport? You can't do that, it's un-American.
