This is the most unanimous that I have ever seen this forum. I think we all agree that Paulie got robbed.Comment

At least something good came out of this. I place emphasis on robbed. Not a close fight that could have gone either way. Diaz looked totally lost and while he did connect a lot of power punches he was neither in control of the fight or breaking Paul down. I like Diaz but if he faces a top contender at 140 he gets dropped and or dominated.Comment

Im officially boycotting all Juan Diaz fights. He is a b class fighter and i will never turn on the tv to see him again. Thats my policy now when i see this **** happening. If a fighter clearly loses but gets a win from the judges, I dont watch him again. Maybe then golden boy will stop fixing fights for their garbage fighters.Comment

Since the "Baby Bull" is an HBO pushed fighter just like Kermit Cintron, I wonder if HBO pays off judges in advance to make sure the fight goes their way?
I mean, it may sound a bit far fetched but the mafia used to pay fighters off to throw fights, so why not pay judges off instead? It seems a little easier to hide if you pay off the judges instead of having the fighters do the dirty work. These guys are "house" boxers who have recently gotten gift decisions when it was apparent that they lost the matches. HBO invests a lot of money in advertising for these fights and makes a lot of money off of the boxers that are fan favorites, so I don't think it's a far stretch to think they would be above paying a couple extra grand as insurance for their investment.Comment

Not a big paulie fan, but he is completly right. Singled out Van Hoye, who is a huge homer and terrible judge. Right that he should have been concerned about fighting in Houston, and right he won that fight.
I also thought he was right that he was "better than being stopped" in the Hatton fight. Hatton had that in the bag, but McGirt jumped the gun. He was way more hurt in the Cotto fight.Comment
