First of all, you don't have to knock a fighter down to hurt him. Second, Hatton won 2 or 3 rounds, if that. Third, I suggest you rewatch the 8th round and see if Floyds shots "weren't phasing" Ricky. Finally, Floyd beat Hatton down, plain and simple with or without the ring post.

Besides round 2 and 5, what other rounds did you give Hatton? Note, round 5 was a gift to Hatton, Mayweather layed on the ropes and did nothing.

If it wasn't for the Ringpost it wouldn't have been a KO and the fight would've continued with Mayweather getting a UD. I had Hatton up 3 rounds to 7 but it wasn't the one sided fight you're implying it to be. I give much credit to Mayweather for his great ring generalmanship and getting Hatton in the right spot to fall into the ringpost, but that punch wasn't a KO punch.
