Cotto was walking right true Mosley punches with no problems

Complete bull****. Shane hurt Cotto with right hands. Margy hurt him with everything. They both made him retreat, he wasn't walking through anything. He has mediocre punch resistance. Pacquiao's volume and speed are more than enough to put Chollo away.Comment

Nope Cotto was never badly hurt before the 6th round. Cotto was dominating that fight in the first 6 rounds. I do remember Cotto got badly hurt at the end of the 10th when Margarito cought him on the ropes.Cotto looked hurt, not badly, but Judah got to him- that's the point. Cotto looked to be hurt early on before the 6th round against Margarito, but I can't remember what round it was.
Pacquiao's power comes through speed, it's hard to absorb what you can't see, not to mention he has heavy hands.
We will see but I don't see Pacquiao punches having much effect on Cotto. This is a true WW that's been hit with way harder shots in the past. But it won't matter, Cotto is working hard on his defence so he I expect Cotto to bring a combination of head movement and improved defence Nov 14.Comment

Mosley hurt Cotto? What fight did you watch?Comment

Yes but even the jab would be risky against Pacquiao. Even when I have this fantasy match up between Mayweather and Pacquiao, I don't see Mayweather working the jab too well, atleast not in the first 5 or 6 rounds, Pacquiao has that speed/ combination punching to hit you upstairs. Even Marquez was to caustious of this and opted to throw mostly power shots. We must remember, Pacquiao and Cotto have the same reach. The best jab against Pacquiao is the jab to the body and fighters like Mayweather, Guzman and B-Hop are real good at it. It can slowly break down an opponent, keep them at a distance and not too risky at all. Cotto doesn't have that punch but it isn't hard to learn, don't think he'll do it though.Judah never hurt Cotto. Cotto was just stunned, Cotto was hurt in that Margarito fight but never in the Judah fight.
You also forgot to mention Cotto's jab (one of the best jabs in boxing). The jab will be one of the keys in the fight because Cotto is great at timing with his jab and Cotto is a great counter puncher. So if Pacquiao comes with one of those crazy punches he throws sometimes Cotto will counter the **** out him.Comment

Trust me, I ain't caught in the hype. When the thought of Pacquiao possibly facing Cotto came to my head, I said Cotto wins by K.O. Then I thought to myself, wait a minute, Cotto's right hand is underdeveloped, his left hook could be his downfall, he is known to slow down after the 7 or 8th round. I really couldn't see Cotto winning, but I wasn't gonna erase the possibility of Cotto landing a big shot and finishing him.Comment

I didn't say Cotto was badly hurt, but he had to have felt something after getting hit so much.Nope Cotto was never badly hurt before the 6th round. Cotto was dominating that fight in the first 6 rounds. I do remember Cotto got badly hurt at the end of the 10th when Margarito cought him on the ropes.

I want Cotto to win this **** too, but Pacquiao is very dangerous. We have to look at things objectively instead of letting people here taint the way we judge other fighters.Comment

Judah got more attention from Cotto from his punches than Mosley from his because of his explosiveness and speed. Cotto was able to see and prepare for most of Mosley's shots, Judah stunned/hurt (whatever you want to call it) Cotto because Cotto didn't see the shot coming. Pacquiao is one of the best in the sport at throwing shots that his opponents don't see coming. Don't underestimate Pacquiao's power, look where it got Hatton.Comment

I do rememer SSM landing some huge rights, I was stunned at how Cotto took them, that is when I knew 147 was the weight for him. He wasn't badly hurt against Shane but Cotto did start to back peddle due tiredness, this was after SSM landed some serious shots, I do believe that is the reason why people thought Cotto was hurt.Comment
