Even Marquez was to caustious of this and opted to throw mostly power shots. We must remember, Pacquiao and Cotto have the same reach. The best jab against Pacquiao is the jab to the body and fighters like Mayweather, Guzman and B-Hop are real good at it. It can slowly break down an opponent, keep them at a distance and not too risky at all. Cotto doesn't have that punch but it isn't hard to learn, don't think he'll do it though.
Mayweather jab can't compare to Cotto's. Cotto jab is very stiff and has lots of power. You say Pacquiao and Cotto have the same reach? That doesn't matter. Mosley reach is bigger than Cotto and Cotto had no problems hiting him with jab. Is all about timing.

      your logic fails.

it would be idiotic in cotto's part to assume pac can't hurt him. he gotta use his size advantage without getting reckless.
Not to discredit Pacquiao's win but Hatton lost his punch resistant. I thought nothing of it during his fight against Luzcano because that was after his lose to Floyd but I was wrong, not that he would have beaten Pacquiao anyway.

It was not tiredness. He was just trying to win the fight the easy way and not risk getting hit with a big shot from Mosley. People also forget than when Cotto was doing that he was still landing flush shots on Mosley. So is not like he was just running around doing nothing.

Floyd's punches didn't hurt Hatton. He was walking through most of Floyd's shots. It was the ringpost that did the most damage that night. I give credit to Floyd's perfect timing on the check hook but his power was nothing special for Hatton..

Cotto might be able to take Manny's best shots but I think he'll fold after taking them constantly for 12 rounds without pause. It's what makes Manny a freak of nature. Speed and Stamina is just a killer to most fighters.

No he didn't run but he was alot less active and it was due to tiredness.

How can you compare the power of a 140 pound Kosta Tszyu to a 147 Shane Mosley? Hatton got KO by Mayweather. Is not like Hatton has a great chin.

Is amazing how many ****** people think Cotto has no defence. Nov 14 will be reality check for the world of boxing.

Yeah right. Smart is the last thing that Miguel Cotto is. He's gonna be running away from Pac just like he did against Mosley, Marg, and Clottey.
