Yeah, definitely. Diaz isn't one dimensional and easy to handle, he's quick as hell, flurries, and has a huge workrate. I think the fresher Casa of a few years back could have weathered the early storm, came back and timed Diaz with counters, and possibly beaten him. But now, Casa is just too old and not fast or energetic enough to keep Diaz off. Diaz gave Marquez (who has much, much more in the tank than casa does) absolute hell early on, forcing Marquez to throw more leather than he ever had just to stay in there. Casa just doesn't have it in him to throw that much leather, and he doesn't have the legs to get on his bike and outbox Diaz, and even then he would need to fire off plenty of jabs and throw punches.
Do you think JOEL CASAMAYOR is done?

I think he is close to done and I believe katsidis would probably beat him in a rematch. I've always thought of casamayor as the bad guy, he does all those little things to bend the rules, but he is/was really good. Very crafty. I think he can still beat some good guys, I'd like to see Casa/Diaz and Casa/katsidis 2.Comment

I do not want to see Casa punished in his old age. I don't want to go through the Pernell thing again.
Or that godawful night when Winky un-manned Trinidad.Comment

casamayor started getting cooked by santa cruz, he started frying vs katsidis only to land a miraculous counter lefthook. Marquez put the finishing touches & seasoning on him, if he fights someone like valero, that fork will be stabbed with the quickness & he will be done.Comment
