Well that is my point exactly. What Floyd shows in the ring on fight night is nowhere near a pure display of stamina and it's that show of ring generalship that makes it hard to make a proper evaluation on the level of his stamina.
First off Floyd's philly shell fighting style in itself is a very compact style designed to minimize wasted movement and wasted energy.
He uses angles and footwork to to make his opponent chase him, he paws with his jab, he takes opportunites to lay on the ropes or fights on the inside and takes opportunites to lay on his opponents. These nuances in his fight strategy are designed to conserve his stamina while sapping small bits of his opponent's stamina.
He could very well fight 15 or even 20 rounds like that but that by no means does it mean he has more stamina or is a harder worker than other fighters.
Other fighters like Pacquiao, Margarito, Juan Diaz are proven to have great stamina because their entire fight strategy revolves around pushing the pace and challenging their opponents to keep up with it, and retaining the same pace in the 12th round as they had in the 1st round without slowing down.
Floyd's game is designed to conserve energy at every opportunity. And until we see him against an opponent that forces him to unleash his "A" game...you cant possibly say that Floyd is undoubtedly the most well conditioned fighter there is.
