No its not. James Toney has had loads of success with barely any training. It would be a safe assumption to say James Toney has had more success than other fighters that have trained much harder than he has.

I think that inactivity hurts speed, timing, accuracy and stamina. ... the things a guy like Mayweather relies on most.
and as i said...do yoou think he wasnt training while on this break

he took time from the sport to let his body rest from punishmentobviously

He was not training. He was exercising.

you could halve mayweathers speed and he would still most beat most of the top guys out there
do the same with pacquioa and he's a B-level fighter
            just sayin'

some people train at a different pace then what they fight.. take miguel cotto for example.
he could've just been taking it easy too.. for all you know he just did 6 rounds none stop the minute before and was cooling down.

He's getting older and coming off a layoff. He may not be at the very top, but I don't see what point you're trying to make. The clip wasn't that long, and he may have just been going that speed on purpose. Wait for the 24/7 to come out. I think he'll be fine, and he'll beat Marquez.

My point the whole time has been we can never be sure if Floyd is the hardest training or most well conditioned fighter out there unless we see his A game because his whole fighting style is built to conserve energy as opposed to expending it.

Oscar delahoya and Manny Pacquiao have had more success than pbf

                    6division champ > 5 division champ

                    4 lineal titles > 3 lineal titles

The only thing Floyd has goin for him is his undefeated record which goes back to my original point about Floyd's conditioning because he has never really been pushed to dig deep for that 2nd wind or reserve tank or whatever you wanna call it.

I thought so as well but he's not slow, that's how how he trained for Hatton. In this fight he plans to fight on the inside that's why he's doing what he's doing
