I think we all agree that Shane needs to fight soon especially at this age he needs to keep active....I think Berto is the most winnable fight with the best pay at the moment for him. He could take Berto's belt then take on Clottey or Cotto if he loses to Pac.

If Floyd wins his fight with JMM he's gonna most certainly be in line to fight the winner of Pac/Cotto. Should Pac lose I doubt he'd be an option for Shane anymore as there would still be clamouring for Pac-JMM 3 and Pac might go on his political thing.

SSM is past prime, but nowhere near shot. He beat Marg's ass on some proper **** and KO'd him, which I didn't think any WW could do after Cintron and Cotto failed. Problem is, he assumed that win would automatically propel him into a payday fight wit Pac or Mr boat buyer. He shoulda known he wasn't gettin Pac. Mr boat buyer-SSM is logical, but he shouldn't have expected that either. His refusal to forget about Pac cost him a chance wit Berto already, and another could go down the tubes if he don't take it soon. SSM should just fight somebody already. Beats sittin on the shelf.

There just so awkward but I still thought Shane looked good and he stopped him
SSM def shoudnt fight at 154, and Mayorga is a good boxers dream, no defense what so ever. If that fight woulda been at 147 i think mosely woulda destroyed Mayorga inside 6 rounds. Mosley at 147 is a strong puncher not at 154, plus dont they use 12oz gloves at 154?

If it would have been at 147 it would have been a fight since Mayorga's prime was at 147.

            Mayorga of 2008 can't make 147.

He still has a chance of landing Berto but the money HBO offered wasnt enough for the 2 of them.

                  Yes at 147.

Took Six Heads Lewis's 0 first, then took Vernon's 0 and beat him in the very close rematch too.
Close fight which I think he was robbed with Spinks immediately after at 147 too.
IMO his prime ended when Trinidad beat him.

Alright, the reason i think Sugar woulda beat Mayorga inside 6 rounds at 147 is because sugar is alot faster and stronger at that weight. To me he looked slow at 154.

                      Inside 6?

                      Serisouly doubt it.

Mayorga had serious power at 147 and altough he threw wild shots he had very good speed t oland those wild swings and his defense was a lot better. He had a lot mor ebetter lateral movement,he could take a punch better and he cut the ring perfectly.

He was a beast at 147.IMO if he beats him Mosley beats him by decision at 147.
