Contrary to what someone posted earlier, an athlete who would fight naturally at Middleweight would do just fine playing football as a wide receiver or a defensive back (not to mention as an outfielder in baseball). People who are genrally ignorant of American football feed into the stereotype that football players are all 300+ pound behemoths when in fact the type of athlete varies depending on the position.

All some of the greatest fighters to ever fight and truly are icons
But now there arent many folks
Benard and Mosley and Roy are still relevant but are obviously getting to old for this ****.Now there's only floyd and paul williams but im getting tired of Floyds antics.
Ive got to say though, paul williams has a bright future.

3 of the Ring Magazine's top 10 P4P list are African American
HW - 1/10
CW - 4/10
LHW - 5/10
SMW - 3/10
MW - 2/10
JMW - 5/10
WW - 3/10
JWW - 3/10
LW - 1/10
I won't go much smaller because genetic physiology comes into play. The point is that the thread is plain ******. African Americans are well represented in the sport of boxing.
Keep in mind the current list does not even include Floyd which would mean that 40% of the top 10 P4P list is occupied by African Americans. Pretty good numbers I think for one classification of people compared against other races withing their own country as well as the rest of the world.

Although it seemed for a long time that African Americans were naturally the best fighters, in reality no race is superior or more athletic than any other.
However, a very high percentage of the best fighters of all races do grow up in poverty: Dempsey, Louis, Frazier, Pacquiao, etc. The greater prosperity of African-Americans may have something to do with there being fewer elite fighters.
