  • What happened to African American fighters?

    In the past there was

    Jack Johnson
    Joe Louis
    Sugar Ray robinson
    Muhammed Ali
    Mike Tyson
All some of the greatest fighters to ever fight and truly are icons
But now there arent many folks
Benard and Mosley and Roy are still relevant but are obviously getting to old for this ****.Now there's only floyd and paul williams but im getting tired of Floyds antics.
Ive got to say though, paul williams has a bright future.

Hopefully this thread can be about black american subcultures and how they may no longer lend themselves to boxing rather then race.

There is a top black fighter at nearly every division except the small divs (where their physiology favors hispanics/asians).

In my opinion, a better question would be "what happened to the WHITE fighter?" Where are the irish and italian fighters who have traditionally accomplished things in the sport?
