What is Cotto is suppose to say that he gonna lose. All fighters do this and they have to believe in themselves that they are gonna win. Don't see was so wrong about especially he didn't disrespect anybody. I see this fight playing out like the Hopkins vs DelaHoya fight. Manny boxing in the beggining and then Cotto impossing his body advantage.

I would like to see in my era a great fighter like Pac winning 7 titles in different weight division but I think Cotto has too much left. Manny is hittable and does get hit good, at times he comes straight in especailly when he thinks your punch is short, thats gonna be a hard habit to break for him and surely Cotto's camp might have picked that up.

Got my tickets already.. Patiently waiting to see the next filipino president get his **** packing and start the campaign early and have the streets in pr celebrating,
Another great boxer will be sent into retirement again by Pac, and this time from PR! Cotto will be talking about retirement again soon, and that time would be his honest decision! I don't know but Pac with complete weapons, being fast and carried his power, I could see it that way, lol!

Who says the fight is going 12 rounds?? i don't seeing it lasting the full 12 at all. These guys are too active and it's going to be an action packed war. I think somebody is getting ko'd before the 12th.

I'm of course hoping it's Cotto, but am being realistic about it. We just don't know. Could go either way. I seen guys bloodied, KD a few times come back to win the fight with one lucky ko shot. Anything can happen in the ring, and nobody can predict who's gonna win. Not even the so called "experts".

I guessing it might go as many as 9 rounds at the most.

i don't know who manny thinks he is,cotto is right,he's just too big for manny, manny is not a welter, sorry, but beating an old oscar, weight drained oscar means nothing,so he beats a no defense hatton at jr welter, wow. here he is fighting a legit welter, stocky welter, with power,ok speed. but in defesne of manny, cotto really will get no credit for beating a small guy though, manny like i said is too small, not a welter, cotto got that credit when he beat clottey, but not manny

145lbs is within Welterweight bracket, and 150lbs is within SWW or Jr MW. You're making fool of yourself by saying "heavyweight title at a catch weight of 150lbs" because HW catchweight would happen only from 201lbs and up depending on agreed weight. However, me too won't agree putting the belt on the line because the belt meant for the titlist, while on his convenient preferred weight within WW, to defend this from anyone challenging him from 141lbs to 147lbs.

Really? That long? I'd say Cotto KO's Manny in 3 rounds or less.

None of his opponents have had to weather the adversity Cotto has had. 3 brutal wars...one possibly from loaded gloves-and a bigger fighter. He walks away from these wars with a hard fought for confidence. And it's the real deal. In his mind I think he believes the gloves were loaded, and for him to last 11 rounds against a bigger relentless cheater (again i stress in Cotto's mind), he must really be made of some tuff stuff. Great for his confidence.

He stayed in the fight with Clottey when he could've won the fight via cut-scorecard, but was man enough to see it through. He did not quit. I ain't predicting he's going to win, but i am saying he will carry that confidence right into that ring with him. He ain't scared of a smaller Manny compared to what he's recently been through....****.

And besides...none of those fighters were Miguel Cotto.

Me too, I don't remember Pac hurting the dehydrated OLDH.. But i remembered Pac hurting ODLH and most probably sensing he would KOed at 9 rounds, he quitted in his stool! His face by the way looks like a smashed cake icing sprinkled with cheries, and by that, no way we can say he was not hurt. What for his quitting anyway? bored of not hitting the Pac?? hahaha!!! FYI, ODLH was not dehydrated but look like dehydrated and old after stung by Pac power. At his dressing room prior to the fight, he look fresh, energetic, well, and very confident!
