Mayweather is an ******* and i went there at one time to get a picture with him who was one of my fav fighters and he wouldnt want to he told me to wait about an hour so he took the pic after that time and told me to **** off.
then the next day there was a dinner for the writers of america and the organization gave me a table and then 2 huge floyd bodyguards came and tol me to leave because floyd wanted this table, rafael garcia floyd's cutman came over and told me not to worry and apolagize to me and said floyd has chance a lot because all of the people that surrounds him, when he finally got to the dinner all of his crew where chanting ''theres only one mayweather'' and stuff and you could seee the complete boxing family wont stand him, they dont like him, and i am talking about every boxing promoter, every fighter from israel vazquez to james toney, to arguello, marquez, hopkins, you name it, even the comedian george lopez made fun of him (basically called floyd an *******).
so i understand leonard trying to change his image, but the honest truth is that the mayweather that we saw on the 24/7 is the real floyd mayweather, obviously Leonard isn't going to talk bad about floyd is he.
aside from that he is still the best fighter pound for pound in my eyes, i don't think that if i had a few bad experiences with mayweather i should hate him or say he is not a good fighter because he is the best.. but i am looking for a humble nice guy who i know very well and is nice to the fans the media and fellow fighters Juan Manuel Marquez to do the imposible posible and beat floyd.

Honestly, anybody who's wealthy and has a good accountant, is encouraged to do philanthropic projects. There's tax write offs that will earn money back. Manny Pacquiao doing all those projects in Philippines? Well he is running for political office, you don't think that has some part of it? Just saying.
Ellerbe is trying to "neutralize" his image and point out that Mayweather does a lot of positive things outside of boxing. He is doing what any agent or manager would do for his client and there is nothing wrong with it. Most actors and politicians will distribute a press release every time they give a homeless person a dollar or give $1,000 to the local YMCA, so why shouldn't Ellerbe promote his client's positive contributions when he has an opportunity?

Controversy sells and Floyd knows it. Interview after interview he does his antics and says the nonsene that he says. If you donate your money and time it is a personal thing and is not to be put on the media. That comes from the heart cause you want to do it, not to be reconized for it and get a pat on the back.
This guy just don't fight who is suppose to fight. Just read the first post that the Mangler wrote and that will explain it all

Originally posted by BIGPOPPAPUMP View Postby T.K. Stewart - After nearly two years away from the sport of boxing, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is preparing to make a triumphant return to the arena that has made him famous and wealthy beyond anything he could have once imagined.
For his last three bouts, Mayweather has earned an astronomical $60 million. But it was not that long ago that “Money” as he is now known, shared a bedroom with half-a- dozen of his siblings and lived in a house in a tough neighborhood of Grand Rapids, Mich. A house that often times went for days without electrical service.
These days, most know Mayweather for his brash manner, his boastful ways and over-the-top personality. It is a public persona that easily overshadows the increasingly private, father of four who retired from the sport in 2007. Over the past few years he has managed to become one of the most wealthy athletes in the world. He has helped promote the biggest names in the world of hip-hop music (Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige) possesses a fleet of luxury automobiles and now resides behind the tall gates of a $10 million mansion that he recently had built in Las Vegas. [details]
