Hey Iron... I don't know for sure if this was in the ufc... But I remember Royce Gracie holding... I believe Kimo's hair a lot in his gaurd in his historic win over him. Just sayin.

Death in combat sports will eventually happen, but with the safety precautions that fighters are under, and the lack of a 10 count knockdown rule in MMA, we will always see more deaths in boxing than MMA any day of the week

I was thinking the same thing just the other day. I watched that Gina Corano fight with my friend and on the undercard some guy got picked up and slamed almost on his neck, at that time I said that will be how someone dies in this, and possibly inside the ring right there. I think it is inevitable.

I don't think so, because unfortunately, like I mentioned before, death in combat sports is almost inevitable.

MMA may come under more scrutiny because of it's past history and the fact that people still don't understand it, but I doubt it will go down the ****ter.

It will definitely be effected big. The media will be all over that and not let it go for a long time. I think after that it might go to like boxing where its not on any free tv.
