Ask Paulie Malignaggi which fight he felt was closer..ask him where he came out MUCH more hurt..and ask Paulie which fight should've actually been stopped..then see how many answers he says Hatton..

your a ***in cotto hater you kno malignali hasnt been the same at all since he fought cotto and u try to discredit his win over paulie by saying hatton destroyed him when the malignali that fought cotto is much better than the version that fought hattonComment

i agree with him in a sense.
As far as cotto beating pacman goes i mean its going to be a close fight period. i dont care who says what. its going to be similar to cotto v. margarito. i expect the fans to be divided and i expect a lot of action and also expect it may go either way at anytime.
i dont think there will ever be a point in the fight you can dismiss the other unless he gets stopped you know?
i do favor cotto over pacman though. i think cotto has grown into a great young prime fighter. he went though mosley, slugged it out with margarito for 11 rounds, got a close decision from clottey, etc. and with every fight he shows some improvement. he can box, brawl, etc. and has developed a hell of a chin at 147 (see the margarito fight for proof...cuz he got just knocked constantly and it took 11 rounds for margarito to chop him down).
if cotto develops a good counterpunching gameplan i think he can outbox and counter pacman anyday. in a brawl i think pacman has the advantage because the handspeed will be in his favor and really go against cotto the longer the fight goes.
so i think the JMM v. pacman tapes should be cottos best training tool going into this fight. thats the fight he should take to pacman for best chance of winning.Comment

Hatton fought a different Paulie than the one Cotto faced. Paul was fighting with one hand against Hatton and right hand was nonexistant in the Hatton fight.Comment
