I never compared the pay in the UFC to other organizations. I was stating the reasons why UFC fighters earn smaller fight purses than top tier boxers.

And while I'm on that point, you do realize how small of a percentage of boxers are actually making that kind of money right ? Probably 2% of all professional boxers are making these multi-million dollar purses.

The topic is about UFC fighters paycheck vs Boxers paycheck. The fact is, a billion dollar business and your best fighter is making only 250k(total), while a guy with only 3 fights is making 1 mill a fight. (500k to show, and 500k to win). Or an old guy gets ktfo but still makes 500k, where the guy who khtfo gets 50k becomes a champ later and only makes 75k. That is called being ripped off.
You shouldn't speak on figures you pull out of your ass. And besides...

    What's with the 'your' ?

Am I the representative for the UFC ? Are you boxing's official spokesman ?

Stop talking like you represent anything other than yourself. I'm a huge boxing fan, and have been all my life. I also like MMA. So what ?

Compared to boxing, they are being ripped off.

I obviously don't care because I still want to fight MMA. (I actually want to fight all combat sports and which ever one I rise up in quicker, that is the one I am choosing.)
    I still disagree.

Mid-level and local level fighters in boxing and MMA are making comprable purses.

That 2% of boxing's elite that are making that kind of money make up a small fraction of what you're referring to.

One thing that you can say about the UFC's salaries is that they give bonuses based on performance. Fight of the night, submission of the night, KO of the night.

I can't believe there are people backing handing out these million-dollar purses, when those million dollar purses are one of the main reasons why the sport is in the state that its' in.

In short, go search up the numbers. You will see Brock earned 500k to show, and 500k to beat Herring. 3rd fight in MMA. Go look at Anderson, he makes 240k consistently as a total. For showing and winning. Apparently you dont do your research before talking about something.

I used your in reference to the billion dollar business. What you want me to choose a different word because your nit picky? How about staying on topic instead of nit picking at silly ****. If you need to nit pick in order to defend your argument, then I am done talking with you.

They are getting paid peanuts compared to boxers. That is the fact. That is what this topic is about, can Anderson Silva make the 10-20mill that Manny Pacquiao makes.

You only look at the face value of the payment the fighters receive. You aren't thinking about the extra money these guys recieve from bonuses and sponsors. Sponsors actually pay the more than the promotion. Anderson Silva leaves with at least one million after everything is added up. IMO that's a good payday, and while it doesn't rival that off what the top top guys in boxing make then so be it. Id rather have the fighters getting paid less then have a similar promotional business as that of boxing. Maybe for you earning 2-3 million is like collecting pennies in the street. You know working in McDonals and all.

They claim to have all these PPV buys but their fighters dont get paid like boxers, looks like Dana White is robbing these people.

You dumb son of a *****, if you are truly a fan of the sport of boxing, you would see that these multi million dollar pay days are the exact reason for the sport being in the state that it is !

That's because you are a thick headed moron. I don't know where you get your 2% figure unless it's something Dana White said when you were sucking him off but 100% of the boxers on HBO, Showtime, and Payperview are making way more money the the guys in the Ultimate *** Contest.
