What is it with this opinion?

Who was the last fighter that Hopkins KO'ed?

You have to be a real big guy to KO Roy even now. Tarver and Johnson are huge and were even bigger to skinny ass Roy who just came down 25 lbs of pure muscle.

Maybe Hopkins can decision Roy, but KO him? damn!

And anyways, I think Jones beats Hopkins because of his handspeed and Hopkins inability to adjust to fighters with decent handspeed(Taylor, Calzaghe). ROY HAS THE FASTEST HANDS AT LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT.(maybe Dawson does but Roy is not too far from Dawson in handspeed).

Leave the Class room if you don't think Hopkins can KO Roy Jones.

you need more than just good handspeed to beat hopkins. roy doesnt have the same reflexes or his legs anymore. i think people fail to realize just how washed up jeff lacy is. in the fight before he fought roy he fought otis griffin who has been getting knocked out by sub-novice fighters EARLY he just fought an up and coming prospect right after he fought lacy and griffin got knocked out in 2 rounds by this up and comer who has really fought nobody at all. and lacy won a razor thin close decison to this griffin guy..anyway on the saubject..i would probably put 200 to 300 dollars that hopkins would decisively beat roy at this stage.

No, i'm not saying Hopkins wouldn't be able to win but no way of a KO to me. I still think Jones is way faster and has a style to really get to Hopkins and make it a very hard fight for him even now.

lacy has nothing to do with it, even without that fight still think Jones style is a mess for B-Hop.

well in a way lacy does, because all the sudden this huge rjj hype started up when he beat lacy the way he did..im just pointing out how washed up lacy is and that beating him doesnt really do much for anyone but get a somewhat good name on their resume because he once was a decent fighter.

Hopkins wouldnt KO Roy but he may stop him with a butt since the fight would probably take place on the ropes all night.

Hopkins couldn't KO Roy if he stood right infront of him and didn't move!

I think handspeed alone can beat Hopkins. Blinding handspeed can beat anyone.

These are two of my favorite fighters, i just want to see them fight live now not their 1993 bout. They're both active and both are in good boxing condition, not prime, but oth are i ngood shape.

Style wise it would be a bad fight for Hopkins but yes Ithink he could KO Jones altough it's unlikely.A TKO ref stoppage is possible.

It's not like Glen Johnson is a big puncher anyway and he knocked Roy unconcious.
