i would say no, think about how his body has aged vs someone who was still taking punishment in the sport for the two years hes been gone.

his body has been preserved, he was able to get rest and im sure we was in the gym to make sure he kept his gifts.
It's funny how when we talk about ANY other fighter who was at home for two years, we talk about inactivity and ring rust. But when it comes to Mayweather, it is suddenly "preserving his body".

There is no substitute for high-level competition. Period. Inactivity is bad. For anyone. Mayweather is not a guy who has been beat up in fights. Not fighting for two years hurts a guy who depends on speed, timing, accuracy and stamina. All the things that erode with time and inactivity.

Floyd didn't take a beating throught out his whole career and hes a defensive Fighter so he can probably dominate in his late 30.

It's hard to say, we haven't seen him fighting for almost two years.

being out for two years and based on his age it's hard not to say that he's not at least on the back side of his prime.. then again like someone said earlier, he's never taken a beating..he sure is hell can't be shot.. i like floyd and jmm..what we should be asking is if jmm is passed his prime

                      Pull,

did you consider Floyd to be in his prime for the Corrales fight? the Gatti fight? the Hatton fight?
