Its possible...most guys start to slow when they get around there mid 30's...I think he's 33

But last time we saw him he looked like the same Floyd...well same Floyd from 147...

But Marquez isn't in his prime anyway...

        ^^+1

i would say no, think about how his body has aged vs someone who was still taking punishment in the sport for the two years hes been gone.

his body has been preserved, he was able to get rest and im sure we was in the gym to make sure he kept his gifts.

I think he is past his physical best, but I think his knowledge gained/guile still more then makes up for it at this point and I think he will be able to hang on for a long time given his style/in-ring smarts and lack of beatings and be somewhat close to his best but fairly soon I think we will start to see some decline.

I want to see the JMM fight before I really make any solid judgements and possibly even another fight depending on what happeans in the JMM fight.

I agree but at the same time it seems unfair to Marquez,if he wins, to blame FLoyd being past his prime.

That is what you get when you fight a guy comming off a 2 year layoff, JMM knows this is his best chance to beat Floyd. So if JMM knows this he understands that people will bring it up if he wins but JMM will still get a ton of praise.

It is all a means to an end.
