This carries over to the world of boxing. Don't hate on a guy just b/c he's a certain race or b/c his corner shouts something you don't like or b/c a decision was unjustly made. Judge a boxer by his character, his ability to fight, and the quality of the opponents he has fought. The rest is trivial.

it's true cotto was getting on top, and it's also true the ref was either biased or incompetant. my aguement is why did this fight take place at all? corley was outweighed by 17lbs come fight time. if there is'nt a rule about being so many pounds over the contracted weight, there ****ing well should be, especially is a title fight. what if corley was lying in a hospital bed now? it's about time the governing bodies bought a rule in about maximum weight allowed at time of fight.

there is absolutifically not a shadow of a doubtery, that Miguel Cotto's corner rigged the fight. There is NO DOUBT!

Kings comments stem from the rumor that Cotto's camp placed weights on the back of Corley's knees, in turn causing him to "appear" to take a knee.
u realize that was DON KING, right?

I had a funny feeling about this fight. On paper, it was an absolute mismatch, Corley not having beaten a quality opponent in some time and Cotto blowing away everyone in his path. But Cotto is vulnerable to right hands as we saw in the N'Dou and Sosa fights. I honestly thought Cotto at that point could've beaten anyone in the world at that point except for Tszyu, but now I'm not so sure. I think Tszyu would've stopped him that night. Corley just doesn't know how to finish a guy. Cotto needs some defensive work.
