    Come on Schaefer...

    I mean, it's going to big for a tune-up fight. It's like a mega tune-up fight. But it's not a mega fight.

I honestly don't even see Pacquiao/Cotto as a mega fight because the odds are already like 4-1 in favor of Pacquiao I think. Everyone knows that Pacquiao will win. Mega fights are 'mega' because it's a good, unpredictable, match-up.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao IS a mega fight because i have no idea who will win that fight. But i go for Floyd.

With that said, although there are no mega fights left this year, there are a lot of good fights that make this year i ngeneral as a mega year for boxing. Basically, no mega fights were really needed this year. imo.

I would imagine that Mayweathers fight does 200k less than pacmans fight.

"This is certainly, without a doubt, going to be the biggest pay-per-view of the year."

IN OTHER NEWS, Pacquiao-Cotto, less than 1,000 tickets remain.

Marquez-Mayweather, probably 55% of the tickets still remain, if not more. But, let's remember...

Cotto is tailor-made for Pacquiao man you're living under a rock or something.

And oh yeah i was wrong, it's not 4-1 it's 3-1 in favor of Pacquiao.

When asked if it will be bigger than the November 14 showdown between Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto, Schaefer was positive it would be. [details]

It really doesn't matter. No matter what Pac-Cotto sells, Arum will inflate the nums, release a wildly overstated figure, never release the actual data, and claim victory.

              See: Cotto-malignaggi, cotto-Judah, cotto-mosley, Cotto-marg, and Pac-hatton.

They taught us that at Stern.

That would be a a decent number actually considering I think Cotto /Pac will be around 1 mill

This will do about 1 million buys, but Cotto/ Pac will do a lot more.
If this fight does a million buys then that blows Cotto/Pac out the water no matter what it does because everyone has been talkin like this will be a half empty arena and will only do like 350,000 buys at the most. Even if Cotto/Pac tops that, I will consider this better because of how it was perceived by so many fans & media before the fight. Also, no matter what the numbers are, if Floyd-JMM comes anywhere near Cotto-Pac then everyone better shut up because people talk like one fight is a dream fight while the other fight is a joke and one fight is huge while the other fight couldnt sell out a HS
