Who will you be rooting for: Mayweather or Marquez?

JMM is obviously the more likeable guy. He never got the props he deserved for his close fights with Pac.
A victory over Floyd would be what he deserves in as far as recognition.Comment

disheartening b/c of what comes after the fight, assuming pacman beats cotto too....idk how anybody, besides true fans of cotto and jmm, could root against a pbf-pacman fight happening....just looking at the numbers, i doubt all those guys a "true" marquez fans....Comment

Hustla,
I respect you. But you are pulling a real ***** move right now. You are trying to re-write history. Either that, or you really don't know the facts. But here are the true facts about FMJ's pay-per-view performances:
Gatti: Arturo's ONLY PPV and highest payday
Judah: Zab's 1st PPV and highest payday
Baldomir: Tata's only PPV and highest payday
Delahoya: Oscar's biggest PPV and highest payday
Hatton: Ricky's first and biggest PPV and highest payday
Marquez: PPV sales TBD, and JMM's highest payday.
Is that all coincidence? Damn...PBF is a lucky dude.
I'm not so sure how you can slam the Baldomir sales ("couldn't sell vs Baldomir") when that fight sold approximately the same as each of the Barrera-marquez fights ... and WAAAAY more than Pac sells vs a no-name.
To sell 10,000 seats and $17 million in PPV's vs Carlos Baldomir? That was considered a big success. Just so you know. I'm in the business. I will gladly argue the facts with you.Comment
