    Hustla,

I respect you. But you are pulling a real ***** move right now. You are trying to re-write history. Either that, or you really don't know the facts. But here are the true facts about FMJ's pay-per-view performances:

Gatti: Arturo's ONLY PPV and highest payday
Judah: Zab's 1st PPV and highest payday
Baldomir: Tata's only PPV and highest payday
Delahoya: Oscar's biggest PPV and highest payday
Hatton: Ricky's first and biggest PPV and highest payday
Marquez: PPV sales TBD, and JMM's highest payday.
Is that all coincidence? Damn...PBF is a lucky dude.

I'm not so sure how you can slam the Baldomir sales ("couldn't sell vs Baldomir") when that fight sold approximately the same as each of the Barrera-marquez fights ...or and WAAAAY more than Pac sells vs a no-name.

To sell 10,000 seats and $17 million in PPV's vs Carlos Baldomir? That was considered a big success. Just so you know. I'm in the business. I will gladly argue the facts with you.

come on man....be objective. Marquez is NOT the first fighter to move up in weight
It's a mismatch in my view styles wise and size wise. That's my view.

I don't care if you agree or not.

But I consider this just a toon-up for future welterweight vs welterweight fights weathter it will be Cotto,Mosley or whoever.

I'm sure Mayweather sees this as a toon-up himself.

Just a year ago, Marquez was a super featherweight..
This is a welterweight fighting a featherweight/super feather pretty much.
Sin, I see that you are having the same posting problem I am with the dupe post.

I think where (some of) you guys are getting lost is by what weight classes FMJ has chosen to fight at as opposed to his real size.

          How much does Floyd weigh?
How much does his opponent weigh?

If the Jones and Lacy fight was fought last week at the heavyweight limit, does it suddenly become an unfair fight? You are not fighting "a welterweight" or "a middleweight" . You are fighting Floyd Mayweather.

Guys are ducking paul Williams at WW because of his size. Even if he fights at WW.

Floyd is the smallest WW in the game. In truth, he is a JWW. At best. Many trainers have said it. Graham said so, Steward said it and Roach recently said it.

This fight is a bout between a guy who is a legitimate LW (casamayor and diaz will vouch) and a JWW. Floyd just happens to have a misguided idea that the "welterweight" title has some special cahet to it.

No, not so much in Hatton's case, because there isn't too much difference between 147 and 140.

But JMM, who is a MUCH better fighter than Hatton, is a natural featherweight (126) and older than Mayweather. JMM fought at featherweight when he was Floyd's age.
