I don't know if I believe this injury by Pavlik is legit or not even though I've been sticking up for him while these other posters are attacking him. It seems awfully funny to me that this comes up right after the fight is signed. I can't remember that ever happening. Hell, I don't know if Calzaghe ever pulled out with an injury days after a fight was signed.

too many Pavlik haters on here. I know the dude hasn't been active this year but he has fought plenty in past years. He isn't afraid of Williams. He's fought bigger punchers. If he was why would he have let Arum go through all the bullitsh negotiations, wasting all that time? Pavlik might have a real problem with his hand, any of you geniuses think that might be it? Nah... couldn't be. It makes so much more sense for him to sign to fight a guy and then pull out of it a week later. Maybe he saw the list of champs that Williams has beat and got scared... Verno Phillips, Handwrap Margarito, a 37 year old, inactive, soft punching Winky Wright, Carlos Quintana... who he got decisively outboxed by the first time. Boy that is one of the best hitlists I have ever seen. And Pavlik got beat by ATG Hopkins at 170, so he must suck. Yeh, he musta just found out who he was dealing with and purposefully broken his knuckle...
