Are you seriously saying Taylor was untested?

Whoever thinks Dirrell will win this fight must be a pothead.
Out of all the fights I've seen of Dirrell, he's got speed, that's about it. Reminds me a bit like Amir Khan, justs blitz with punches but struggles to knock anybody out. Stamina maybe, but against 2nd class opponents the jurys out.

Once he feels Carls power and gets taken into he trenches that's when you'll see the real Dirrell.

I remember when people were hyping up Jeff Lacy just the same before he faught Calzaghe. Then Calzaghe handed his ass back to him recorded delivery next day before 10am.

Froch is already coming up with a game plan that will allow him to lose the first 11 rounds and then win by knockout after Dirrell has punched himself out in the 12th.

I've never seen Dirrell fight, but if he isn't a puncher than I don't think he can do much against Froch. Does he have a good chin? Maybe he can outbox him, but he's too young and inexperienced.

Froch started late on Taylor and admitted that.
Dirrells a bit trigger happy and ive got a feeling he will burn himself out later rounds when he sees that for the first 8 rounds that his speed, jabs and punching aint gonna stop Froch.

If Pascal or Taylor couldn't stop Froch, how the f**k is Dirrell?

You forgot about Dirrell's strength, he was pushing around Hanshaw like a rag doll. You don't have to have knockout power to win fights at a high level.

What's your point? The jury's out on every prospect, the jury was out on Froch a couple fights ago and he proved himself. It's a gamble picking any prospect stepping up in comp.

If you already couldn't tell, this fight is different from Calzaghe-Lacy. Calzaghe was the boxer with fast hands and Lacy was the face first brawler. Dirrell can handle the pressure, the question is, can he handle the power.

I must saying I'm beginning to understand now why Calzaghe slagged him off.
