Son, you are not on my level. I responded to points which I had indeed read, and stated my impression based on that. You telling me I need to read some crap you wrote is pure folly. I read enough to see it was crap, and I simply responded to what I had read.

Perhaps I can issue a point-by-point refutation later on

That doesn't change the fact that they were top notch wrestlers in high school and college when many top boxers NEVER EVEN WENT TO HIGH SCHOOl to begin with.

And no, ancient gladiators didn't roll around on the floor, tea bagging each other, and straddling each other in a "full mount." Sorry, they fought like warriors standing up with weapons for extended periods of time until blood, sweat, and tears were shed which is far more akin to boxing than current MMA. Boxers are the only true gladiators. They fight for 12 3 minute rounds for a total of 36 minutes of combat. A typical MMA match lasts 1-2 minutes and has a total of 5-20 landed blows. Not even a comparison. MMA is "Gladiator-Lite"

Most MMA fans are ******s, and not suburban kids, that have been raised in a good household. You trying to say these people that got wrestling scholarships from a university makes them smart and in a good situation is wrong. A lot of college athletes are dumb as bricks.

But with guys like Silva and Machida dominating the sport right now, I think it's going to inspire generations of fighters to take their striking more seriously and the overall striking skills of MMA fighters will rise in the years to come.

And MMA fans are very knowlegable when it comes to all the differents aspects of ground fighting, I just watched Demian Maia vs. Jason Mcdonald last night and for every submission attept and change of position the crowd was totally in to it and cheering them on. Ground fighting can be exciting.

That's only because historically just like when Royalty came out to see Gladiator matches, the highest and most esteemed were always interested in seeing the Creme de la Creme of combat, which today is boxing. Eminent individuals recognize that boxing is the most brutal and carnal of all sports.

Resorting to desperate name calling is just that - an act of desperation from an intellectually-inferior combatant who has lost. Take it in stride, kid.

MMA has been happening since the Greek times..for thousands of years. Fedor is about as real and authentic as they come in terms of being a true Gladiator.

I do see MMA shooting itself in the foot, but to say that only privileged white kids are MMA fighters is being a bit ignorant. I coach a multiple belt winner of many different organizations and weight classes. He is not what you would consider "privileged" as a kid.

Many of these guys that you are saying are in college and are more privileged then poorer inner city kids, isn't necessarily true. A lot of these guys made it to college based on their wrestling or other sporting abilities. Getting a scholarship doesn't mean that someone is better off economically or socially.

Lol, what the fuck ever man. You are the one who has consistently dodged every one of my points, not the other way around.

You are biased, and will not be moved by reason, which is very typical. You will not accept as valid any argument which does not conform to your preconceived notions. I think this is obvious to everyone here, except yourself of course.
