Why would Cotto be undefeated for what Margorito did in the Mosley fight like 6mos later? I mean you can't possibly mean the fight in which Cotto nor his team bothered to check the wraps and he quit.

A part of me is not at all convinced that Margo cheated in that fight against Cotto. If you listen to Luis Resto describe how he fought Collins you would hear him say that he was throwing no body punches at all because he wanted to keep doing damage to his face. There have been plenty of fighters with messed up faces in fights of where there was no cheating going on that we know of. How about Israel Vasquez in the third fight with Rafa Marquez? I think Cotto's facial damage happened because as the fight went on he became a stationary target due to fatigue and Margarito took advantage of that. He landed good body shots on Cotto and it paid dividends.
